DaJon James (DJ) has developed a love for music and art from a young age and his main goal in teaching is to share that love with his students and their families. With Bachelors degrees in Music and Psychology from Syracuse University and a Masters degree in Choral Music, DJ has taken that love for music and combined it with a rigorous system that involves improvisation, ear training, theory, and of course, vocal training.

DJ started Otto Tunes, an all male a cappella group, while at Syracuse University and has competed at ICCAs, BOSS, and SOJAM. DJ is currently a voice and piano instructor in the LA and Orange County area. When not teaching, DJ likes to direct musicals, swing dance, watch movies, and read science fiction novels.
